- Lake Seminole: Walkable from our home, 258 acres of designated wildlife habitat and sanctuary. Kayak and paddle board the lake. Great for running, walking, and riding bikes.
- Seminole Lanes: A 60-lane bowling alley with billiards, an arcade, and a snack bar.
- Treasure Island Fun Center: Largest arcade and games.
- Boca Ciega Millennium Park: Bayside park; excellent for sunsets, birdwatching, and walking.
- Seminole Lake Country Club: Golf!
- Bardmoor Golf and Tennis Club: Golf, tennis, and pickleball.
- Florida Botanical Gardens: Cultivated gardens featuring local and tropical flora on 90 acres.
- John's Pass: Beautiful ocean views and several places to eat seafood. Enjoy ship cruises and sunsets.
- Clearwater Pier 60: One of the most popular places in Pinellas County, with lots of street art vendors and performers. Absolutely gorgeous views of the city and a great spot for fishing.
- St. Pete Pier: Recently remodeled, this place offers a beautiful experience of our city and our downtown in St. Pete. Lots and restaurants and international food.
- Tarpon Springs Downtown: A very romantic place filled with Greek and Cuban culture. Officially known for their sea sponge diving businesses and galleries.
- Safety Harbor: Small historical downtown with beautiful bay views and a large natural park.
- Dunedin Downtown: One of the most beautiful places in Pinellas County; please make sure to visit this place before leaving Florida!
- Tampa River Walk and Ybor City: The most historical areas of Tampa Bay. Find international food and large clubs in these downtowns, as well as famous art galleries and museums.
Beach Spots
- Madeira and Redington beaches are the closest to home. Only a 12 – 15-minute drive.
- Fort De Soto: Natural Reserve in south St. Pete. The beach has a cost to get in, and it provides multiple outdoor activities such as kayaking, hiking, biking, camping, etc.
- Sunset Beach: Very nice beach neighborhood with popular bars and restaurants and the most incredible sunsets you will find in this country.
- Honeymoon Island: Escape the city life and cross over to Honeymoon Island north of Dunedin, 30 minutes away from Largo. This place offers an absolutely gorgeous beach, but can get very crowded on holidays and weekends.
- Redington Shores: Nice beach area with lots of short-term rentals and businesses, worth checking out and probably a good place to invest in. Also, lots of retiree communities living the ultimate salt lifestyle in Florida.
- Indian Rocks Beach: Small beach area with just a few local businesses; a great spot to park your car and walk down to the beach to catch the sunset.
- Sand Key Park: Similar to Fort De Soto. However, this is a few-entry park next to Clearwater Beach where you can bring your loved ones and enjoy a full beach day. Offers showers and BBQ spots.
